This was our first time to eat at this restaurant. Located in the Domain, we sat outside because the weather was beautiful! Service was a little slow but we enjoyed our meal. I ordered the Salmon Bento box and my fiance ordered the ramen along with the Brussel Sprouts. Thr Bento Box came with steamed rice, small portion of salmon, salad, California roll, dumplings and vegetable tempura. I thought it was a good deall for all that food! My fiance said the ramen was packed with a lot of flavor! We both enjoyed our meals and the vibe. We definitely will be back to try other menu items!

We had an enjoyable lunch at Joi today. Food was surprisingly good and the ambience very lovely and cozy. We did wait for about 10/15 minutes until someone came to greet us at the table and bring water. My husband had to get up and pick the menus himself as no one came for us. However once our server came, she was very attentive to our needs til’ the end. Food took a while to come and the restaurant was not super full. When food came, it was nicely presented and everything was delicious, except for the Korean fried chicken which was very dry and portion was small. All the other entries were yummy. We ordered everything to share, so we could try different dishes.

Absolutely loved this place. The atmosphere is stunning — cozy, elegant, and perfect for a relaxed evening. Sitting outside with the greenery and soft lights made the whole experience feel special and almost European. The service was genuinely great — attentive, friendly, and very natural without being overbearing. Everything came on time, and we felt taken care of the entire evening. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. The sushi was fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with attention to detail. Drinks were also on point — light, refreshing, and perfectly paired. Overall, it’s one of those places where everything just works: the vibe, the service, and the food. Definitely a spot I’d come back to

One of our new favorites. We have dined there twice and have been impressed both times. It is very nice inside and not too loud (great playlists as well). The highlight was the food as it should be. The poke bowl with salmon and tuna not only looks amazing, but is the best, freshest poke bowl I have had in Austin. Two other great dishes were the lobster tacos and pork saboro ramen. Our server (forget his name, but tall) was so personable and recommendations were on point. I am very excited to come back.

Joi Bistro at the Domain was a really enjoyable experience from start to finish. The food absolutely delivered. The lobster tacos were rich and well balanced, the miracle shrimp had great flavor and texture, and the pad Thai was solid, comforting, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted fresh and intentional, the kind of food that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the meal. What really elevated the visit though was the service. Marina was outstanding. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever hovering. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and that energy carries the whole table. The surprise visit and conversation with Chef John sealed it for us. Thoughtful, personable, and clearly passionate about his craft. That kind of presence matters and it shows pride in both the food and the guests. Great atmosphere, great people, and food that hits. Joi is doing things the right way and we will absolutely be back.
